Dr. Kisha Jones is a management professor at Florida International University (FIU), where she brings over a decade of expertise in workplace diversity, inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. With Doctoral and Master’s degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Howard University, Dr. Jones has dedicated her career to advancing inclusive practices in organizations.
Before joining FIU, Dr. Jones served on the faculty at Pennsylvania State University, teaching and mentoring students across undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD levels. Her courses span diversity and inclusion, recruitment, staffing, performance measurement, training, and research methods, equipping future leaders with essential workplace competencies.
A recognized thought leader, Dr. Jones’s research focuses on diversity and inclusion, recruitment, and career success. Her work is featured in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Business and Psychology and contributes as a reviewer for prominent research funding agencies like the National Science Foundation.
Dr. Jones’s insights have been sought by U.S. News & World Report, Women’s Wear Daily, and other media outlets, solidifying her role as an expert voice on workplace inclusion and organizational performance.
